About the Conference
The 2009 All-Hazard Incident Management Team Training and Education Conference (AHIMT TEC) is a grass roots, national effort developed to provide policy and decision makers, AHIMT members, training coordinators, and team managers concise and detailed information regarding the continuing development of the All-Hazard Incident Management Team Program and the best practices and lessons learned from their experiences.
Based on the huge success of the 2008 AHIMT-TEC conference and the AHIMT-TEC research paper, “Perspectives on Success: Issues and Priorities for All-Hazard Incident Management Teams,” generated from the conference, we are proud to announce the 2009 conference.
The agenda will focus on providing attendees critical information on lessons learned and best practices developed by existing all-hazard incident management teams that could be beneficial to other AHIMTs.
This continues to be a unique opportunity for the Incident Management community involved in the All-hazard Incident Management Team program including Team members, coordinators, and managers, to dialog with AHIMT program management personnel and the DHS the needed support and priorities for NIMS products that support the AHIMT program.
